Sonder Definition: the realization that each random passerby is living a life as vivid and complex as your own—populated with their own ambitions, friends, routines, worries and inherited craziness

Sonder Los Angeles was created due to a void in the marketplace. Passionate for design, we quickly ran into a dead end when searching for a beautiful, functional, yet affordable cutting board. We wanted a board to use every day, to entertain with, and to display proudly in our kitchen. When we failed to find the perfect board, we decided to create it ourselves!

All of our designs are original and start on paper. Each product takes up to 10 months to prototype, test, revise, and perfect before we get it into your hands. The combination of an Interior Designer’s eye (Tiffany) and some OCD (Tarek) allows us to craft products that forever change the way you view a cutting board.

We believe functionality and aesthetics are equally as important when it comes to design, and neither should exist on its own but instead live in harmony. We believe products should be displayed and celebrated rather than hidden away. Our goal is to create thoughtful products that elevate your everyday and enhance the way you live. Thank you for supporting our brand and vision. We hope you enjoy our products as much as we do.
